The Result
The Strategic Leadership Development Framework was created in response to an executive leadership established strategic goal to build greater competence and leadership abilities among Cochlear management personnel. To help Cochlear build the appropriate competencies within its management and achieve its strategic goals, Learning Designs outlined a management development framework that provided a “roadmap” for Cochlear’s management. The plan ensured a foundation of learning for continuous improvement on the job. It also aligned development efforts with Cochlear’s overall business strategy and focused training and development efforts on enhancing the effectiveness and competitiveness of all segments of the Cochlear organization to make certain that it met its strategic goals.
