The Directive
Create a comprehensive learning system for new hires

The Result
Learning Designs created a system that ensured newly hired employees mastered an appropriate set of learning objectives that reflected their on-the-job responsibilities.

The system had five primary components:

  • An online set of modules that was available as appropriate to new hires in Customer Care, Reimbursement, Clinical Services, and Sales
  • A set of online exams and a database for tracking new hire performance on those exams that was embedded in the online system to enhance accountability
  • A one-day workshop or set of one-on-one learning activities for Customer Care new hires
  • A set of on-the-job activities and a mentor guide for Customer Care new hires
  • A two-day workshop that incorporated a set of group learning activities for Sales new hires
