The Result
The HIV Resistance Training System that LDI created provided up-to-date information that was readily available to internal and external customers. It was designed with an easy-to-use format that consistently applied the principles of adult learning and allowed the user to determine the content and the speed with which they covered the information. The system included:

• An overview of HIV/AIDS including history, demographic, epidemiology, as well as diagnostic and treatment patterns
• In-depth information on the mechanisms of drug resistance in HIV and an overview of the various types of testing available to physicians world wide to evaluate drug resistance in their patients
• Specific information on Virco Type HIV-1 virtual phenotype test.
